Welcome to the Holiday Inn & Suites, located on the New Orleans North Shore, in Covington, LA. Holiday Inn Covington will be undergoing major renovations to our Holidome and restaurant from January 5th, 2009 through April 1st, 2009. The hotel lobby/Holidome will be inaccessible to the public during this time. Our restaurant and lounge will be temporarily relocated, but will remain open during this renovation period. Our indoor/outdoor pool will be open during this time, however, our fitness center will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are ideally positioned 35 miles from New Orleans, via the Causeway Bridge, crossing beautiful Lake Ponchartrain. Destinations and activities to enjoy nearby include: New Orleans Superdome, Convention Center, French Quarter, Gulf Coast Casino gambling, world class antique shopping, challenging golf courses and wonderful South Louisiana Cuisine, just to name a few.Our unique hotel is the largest hotel on the Northshore, offering 8500 square feet of meeting and banquet space, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, lobby bar, restaurant, fitness center, sports court and 125 well appointed guest rooms, some of which open into our beautiful atrium lobby.
