• Mardi Gras Museum:  Features Galveston's Mardi Gras festivities past and present. Costumes and historical memorabilia are on display as well as models of the Street Arches created for Mardi Gras. The museum also includes a Mardi Gras Gift Shop.
• Texas Seaport Museum / Tall Ship Elissa:  These attractions examine Galveston's historic port and its influence on the community. The museum highlights the workings of the 19th century port and its role on natural history.
