• Katedrala Marinjina Uznesenja (cathedral):  A wonder of neo-gothic artistry, the impressive and sharp looking towers catch your view from nearly anywhere in the city. 1093 founded, 1242 the initial Romanesque construction was finished. During the first 21 years it was heavily destroyed by Tartars. 1624-a series of sweeping fires practically destroyed the cathedral. After its reconstruction serious damage sustains by an earthquake. During a 12 years restoration after the Earthquake the neo-gothic bell towers where raised.
• Crvka sv. Marka (St. Marks Church):  The spectrum of colors displayed on the beautiful roof depicts the Croation, Dalmation and Slavonian coat of arms and also the Zagreb city emblem.
• Tkalciceva Ulica:  The preferred hang out for the young and cool in the city, you will be startled by the sheer number of people outdoors, drinking or chatting the evening away. This street emits a dose of Zagreb life that we do beleive will strike you as very unique and special.
• Trg Nikole Subica Zrinjskog:  The combination of the out door gazebo, expertly manicured lawn, flowers, enormoustrees, fountains and statues make this park to a brilliant area for relaxing and hang out. This is the park closest to Jelacica square abd you'll be thrilled to see taht its a kind of destination point: local lovers show off their most complex and passionate manoeuvers free of charge daily.
• Kamenita Vrata:  This archway was one of the four original entries into the former by wall surrounded city. In the year 1731 a fire destroyed a big part of the town, and legend has it, that a vision of the virgin Mary could be seen in the ash that remaint after the fire at this entry. The archway has been reconstructed inteh year 1760 and remains untouched since that time. Today you'll find people praying in the church pews of the archway. Black-soot ceilings and candles glowing as a testament to confirm faith in god.
• Trg krlja Tomislava Tomislav square:  A square with special charme, located opposite the historical building of the main railway station. During summer months puppies, pigeons and people mingle together as though differences between species are not relevent. The multi line tram stop and under ground shopping mall importane and superbly immediate.
• Muzej Mimara:  The city's mega museum that offers more than 3500 artistic treasures. Teh artistic works are from all over the world including sculptures, paintings, crafts and much more.
• Muzej grada Zagreb (Municipal Museum):  With theme music and sprawling city models, this museum will astonish you with its atrifacts and displays. It helps to elucidate the progression of Zagreb as a city and Croatia as an independant country in the 20th century. Much of it is interactive also, which makes the visit to a educational fun experience with your kids.
• Sljeme Mountain:  A trip to the magestic Sljeme Peak just North of town is especially recommendable. Beautiful nature and cooler temperatures. Hike up to the top (a few hour stroll) or on the cable car, a half hour glide above the trees to the top. Eating and drinking opportunities abound and the beautiful meadows and walking trails help you to rediscover the simpler joys of life. The starting point can be easily reached with the public tram.
• Lakes of Plitvice:  Who does not know movies about Winnetou? What mandy people do not know is that this movies have been produced in that area. An unbeleivable nature side, with water falls, lakes and rivers (UNESCO Heritage Site). Tour can be arranged by hotel.
• Varazdin:  A fantastic barrock town that has preserved its historical presence. By walking through the city center and visiting the Varazdin castle, you will feel transformed to the former centuries. Tours can be arranged with the hotel.
